Filmul de vineri noaptea s-a dovedit o minunatie. De ceva vreme statea cuminte in laptop, in micul folder cu minuni.Este o poveste despre rivalitatea dintre doi magicieni care impart scenele Londrei si pe Scarlet Johansson. Este un film despre orgolii si magie, despre iubire si tradare, trucuri nedescoperite si masinarii care "teleporteaza". De vazut.

Ne place Hugh Jackman. Sweet!

Camden College. Sean Bateman (James Van Der Beek) is the younger brother of depraved Wall Street broker Patrick Bateman. He's also a drug dealer who owes a lot of money to "fellow" dealer Rupert Guest (Clifton Collins, Jr.), as well as a well-known womanizer, for he sleeps with nearly half of the female population on campus. Lauren Hynde (Shannyn Sossamon) is, technically, a virgin. She's saving herself for her shallow boyfriend, Victor Johnson (Kip Pardue), who's left the States to backpack across Europe. Her slutty roommate, Lara (Jessica Biel), has the hots for Victor as well. Paul Denton (Ian Somerhalder), who used to date Lauren, is openly bisexual and attracted to Mitchell Allen (Thomas Ian Nicholas), who's dating Candice (Clare Kramer) to prove to Paul that he's not gay. Sean loves Lauren. Paul loves Sean. And Lauren may love Sean.

This is a twisted story about sex, drugs, and college. Three disturbed students at Camden college get involved in a love triangle. Sean Bateman (brother of American Psycho's Patrick Bateman) is a womanizing drug dealer who falls in love with virginal Lauren (not to be confused with her slutty roommate Lara,) because he inspects that she is his secret admirer, who is leaving notes in his box. Although Lauren does like Sean, she is still infatuated with Victor (her shallow ex boyfriend) who is in Europe for a semester. Lauren used to date Paul before he came out of the closet, and now Paul has his eyes on Sean when he mistakes him for bisexual. Things get more complicated since all the side characters (including the mentioned Lara and Victor) are deeply disturbed as well. Everybody is only looking out for themselves, which insures that nothing good can come from this. One knows this because the end of the story is the first scene, and the rest of the movie serves to show how Lauren, Paul, and Sean wind up miserable at "The End of the World Party

Aventurile lui Habarnam si ale prietenilor sai

Ei bine iata ca mi-am luat inima in dinti. Acesta carte este un fel de Biblie a gastii Thassos. Anul trecut inainte de vacanta ma gandeam: ce as putea sa iau cu mine si sa dea picele pe spate definitiv?! Picele au 5-6 ani, sunt din alea cochete, cu papucei Barbie si cu posetele de blanita, astea cochetele ce naibii povesti vor sa auza? De la Doctorul Au-Ma-Doare pana la Talismanul de safir, am cautat si mi-am stors creierii..Nimic nu se "pupa" cu personalitatea micilor vedete. Asa ca in egoismul celor 29 de ani mi-am zis: O sa le citesc ce imi place mie! Doar nu imi citesc ele mie! Si am avut de ales intre Trei Grasani (pe care o iubesc definitiv si irevocabil!forever!) si Aventurile lui Habarnam si ale prietenilor sai.

Aceasta alegere este probabil una dintre cele mai bune pe care le-am luat in viata. In urma lecturarii povestii, s-au ales nume! Dan a devenit Piulita, Maria clar Surubel = cei doi prieteni nedespartiti, nevasta lui Dan este Mama lui Piulita, Anca este Ochi albastrii - prichinduta cu plasturele!! Nu am cuvinte sa povestesc ce am iscat. Cercetand pe net am constatat ca mai sunt si altii ca mine! Desi mama imi spune ca nu mai este nimeni..Si cativa barbati la fel au crezut:))

Pai da! caci mai am o multime de carti vechi..Si am si Mary Poppins - si mi-a placut si filmul, insa cele doua carti sunt minunate.

Vitea Maleev la scoala si acasa

Azi noapte in timp ce ma fofilam de la invatatura despre managementul calitatii, m-am intins pe burta in pat, coborand periculor spre margine, catre biblioteca veche de la ai mei din camera - unde vietuiesc in lipsa lor:)
Si sub niste carti vechi statea pitit Vitea Maleev. O carte scrisa de N. Nosov, un rus. Super carte pentru copii. O carte cu desenache foarte frumoase si cu o mica rugaminte la final: "Daca v-au placut aveturile lui Vitea Maleev precum si desenele ce le ilustrau va rugam sa ne scrieti la Editura tineretului (..si adresa..).Va multumim"
Ce frumos, nu?
Vitea Maleev nu era un copil oarecare, ci un vasnic pionier rus, mare inventator! Vitea Maleev umbla telelu ca mine cand eram vasnic pionier(a)..Vitea Maleev e cool. Aduc sa scanam din carte sa va bucurati si voi de desenache.

Serghi a zis asa, cu patos cum numai el stie sa povesteasca: "Asta e un super film! Sa vezi ce lumini si cum e filmat! Si totul e o macheta, au filmat in platou. Ai vazut Dogville? Nu, lasa, nu-i nimic, asta e mai tare! Ia-l si o sa iti placa si vorbim dupa ce il vezi!"

Si l-am luat si asezat langa Idiotii, Breaking the Waves si alte minuni. Si l-am vazut. Si este un film bine facut, foarte bine facut. Cu o poveste despre un tip, un american - care se trezeste intr-o valtoare de evenimente ciudate.

In februarie 2006 am facut un spot cu un tanar regizor belgian Jean Paul. Care a venit cu un laptopel mic si alb si plin de minuni. Si ne-am facut noi doi liste cu cine ce filme sa vada, si mi-a povestit de Gaspar Noé, si eu il cunosteam de la un festival, si vai ce ne-am mai bucurat si imprietenit. Si a zis el: nu vrei sa iti dau si eu tie niste muzica? Si asa a inceput totul. Cum orele treceau hardul meu se imbogatea cu mii de piese. Trupe de care nu auzisem niciodata, etc, etc.

Filmul Piratilor din Caraibe - primul caci urmatoarele nu am vrut sa le mai vad, este filmul unei mari prietenii si unei mari iubiri. Nu avem comentarii despre acest film pentru ca orice comentariu este de prisos - "Must see".
(Acest film a dus la semnarea unui pact, remember?)

Cartile pe care nu le terminam niciodata. Nici nu le incepem.Sau ne saturam de ele.

Exista carti de care te apuci caci iti sunt recomandate. si iti plac pret de cateva pagini. apoi "recomandacul" te intreaba si te preseaza si zice: deci?! cum ti se pare??tare nu??

si tu iti zici: futu-i, nu pot sa trec de pagina 251 si asta ma intreaba ce parere am.

Pai, deci, ca sa zic asa..sunt carti pe care nu le pot termina si pace. Nu mai intra. Am ajuns la "jumatea" lui Midnight children si s-a rupt filmul. Am lasat cartea pe un colt de etajera si acolo a ramas pana in zilele noastre, daca nu cumva, in imbecilitatea mea am deja recomandat-o si imprumutat-o cine stie cui.

Piticul mi-a placut..tot asa. Pret de jumate. Desi este o carte subtirica a existat un moment in care mi-am zis ca nu mai vreau sa stiu ce face acel pitic rau.

Hesse - nu am putut nici sa deschid jocul cu margele de sticla. Carte noua, cu miros de cerneluri si lipici. Este pusa la loc de cinste, undeva in biblioteca.

Kundera. Pai da, dupa ce a trecut trendul de a citi Kundera nici nu imi mai vine sa pun mana pe vre'o carte. Citea toata Alma Kundera si era foarte cool sa vorbesti despre cartile lui. Si mai ales era cool sa intrebi: "Cum?? Nu ai citit INCA? Puah!"

Ei bine, nu. Nu am citit. Inca.

Nu am citit Marc Levy. Nu am avut si nici nu am vrut sa dau banii pe ceva care mi s-a parut (no offence) cam siropel. Parca mi-am imaginat doamnele in metrou cu lacrima in coltul ochiului citit "Te voi revedea" sau pana ne-om revedea..sau cum ii zice.

Dar! Am citit Coelho. Deci, am fost in trend cand "ierea" trendul! Ha!

Ba chiar am tradus 99% din La Raul Piedra Am Sezut Si Am Plans. Si pana sa mai traduc eu 1% au publicat-o astia si mi-au infranat bucuria de a fi tradus eu insami o foarte frumoasa poveste de amor si despre credinta. Insa pentru mine a fost minunat. Mi-a placut Coelho ca citea Serban si mi-a dat si mie Veronika isi doreste sa moara. Apoi mi-a dat Alchimistul , apoi a adus din Anglia noutatea cu raul Piedra. Si apoi am primit 11 minute de la Andi, inainte de a pleca in Franta, ca sa am motive de lacrimat si taiat vene.

Apoi am mai citit inca ceva si nu am mai putut sa citesc caci murea trendul si omul nu se mai oprea din scris. Si scria si venea si il intervieva lumea..si gata.

Sunt filme pe care vreau sa le tot revad. Si le revad. Si rad, si le uit o vreme. Apoi ma loveste dorul de ele si le vad iar. Si iar. Asa e cu Piglet. Desi pare un film pentru copii, daca il vezi cu ochii mei va parea un film foarte bun. Si pentru copii..

Povestea lui Guit face parte desigur din marile aventuri care se petrec in Padurea celor 1000 de acri, unde vietuiesc si Winnie si magarul Eyore si Kanga si Roo si bufnita si iepurele si Christopher.
