Si jie . Lust, Caution

Ang Lee's new film, an espionage thriller set in WWII-era Shanghai. Tony Leung stars as Mr. Yee, a powerful political figure in 1940s Shanghai. Tang Wei, makes her feature film debut as Wang Jiazhi, a young woman who gets swept up in a dangerous game of emotional intrigue with Mr. Yee.

Ang Lee on his erotic espionage thriller "Lust, Caution" -- winner of Best Film at the 12/8 Chinese-language Golden Horse Awards as well as the Venice Film Festival. Interviewed at the Asia Society by La Frances Hui, Ang Lee and lead actress Tang Wei discuss the role of sex in the film, the characters' motivations, differences in how Asian and American audiences respond to the film and why, and the cutting of the sex scenes in China. The Academy Award-winning director of "Brokeback Mountain" and "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" discusses all this and more with scenes from the film and the making of the film, with additional interviews with lead actor and Asian cinema icon Tony Leung, and Tang Wei. The film also won the Golden Horse awards for best actor, best new performer, best makeup & costume design, best score and screenplay adaptation.

si eu l-am vazut de curand si mi s-a parut foarte diferit de ce a mai facut ang lee pana acum...nu inteleg insa de ce atata scandal si cenzura pentru scenele de sex, cred ca au acelasi rol ca si cele din Damage: sa surprinda tensiunile sau relatiile de putere dintre personaje, nu neaparat un rol comercial

Mie mi-a placut. Erotismul, violul la prima lor intalnire intima..totul este legat de putere in film, nu vad nimic comercial, nici nu am citit criticile..
